Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Fabio Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichiban Momoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marques kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is mosh. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Momoko lands a jab to Marques's midsection.
Momoko lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Momoko misses with the combination.
Momoko misses with a double jab
letting Marques counter with a right hand.

and Marques counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sloppy strikes from Marques. Those never looked like landing.
Marques circles away from the clinch attempt.
Marques throws a right and a left that Momoko avoids nicely.

It looks like Fabio Marques has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Momoko scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Marques to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Momoko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marques throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Momoko counters by clinching up.

Momoko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Marques looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Marques takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Marques lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Momoko goes down! The ref sends Marques to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Momoko is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
Momoko is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Momoko is still on wobbly legs! Can Marques finish him?
Marques catches Momoko napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Momoko crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Marques raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Fabio Marques!
During a confident post fight interview, Fabio Marques thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
