Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Hussey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pranang Krampuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pranang Krampuk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Hussey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pranang Krampuk!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krampuk throws a leg kick which misses Hussey's front leg but catches the back leg as Hussey tries to avoid it.
Krampuk on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hussey lands an overhand right.
Krampuk thuds a left hand into Hussey's body.
Krampuk throws a head kick that Hussey semi-blocks.
Krampuk bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Krampuk lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Krampuk punishes Hussey's body with a nice straight punch.

Krampuk looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Krampuk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hussey.

Hussey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krampuk as he jumps to the side.

Krampuk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hussey has been working on his balance at Madz , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Krampuk.
Krampuk feints and then cracks Hussey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hussey down.
Oh Hussey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hussey seems to have got his legs back now.

Hussey swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Krampuk counters with a left to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Krampuk.
Hussey swings and misses with a shot to the body

Hussey misses with an uppercut. Krampuk saw that one coming.

Krampuk punishes Hussey's body with a nice straight punch.
Krampuk throws a series of strikes that have Hussey backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick from Krampuk lands but Hussey takes it in his stride.
A slapping leg kick lands for Krampuk.
That kick from Krampuk tenderised Hussey's leg. Hussey is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hussey throws a front kick aimed at Krampuk's knee but Krampuk avoids it well.
Krampuk tries a head kick but it misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hussey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A big left from Hussey misses.
Krampuk is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hussey rather than just go for the knockout.
Hussey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krampuk's waist but Krampuk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hussey off to one side.
Krampuk takes one on the button.
Krampuk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hussey.
Krampuk circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Hussey drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Krampuk follows Hussey to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
