Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James McGuiness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuiness paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hunt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McGuiness takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McGuiness misses with a looping left.
McGuiness misses with a hook. Hunt ducked under it nicely.
McGuiness throws a hook but Hunt avoids it easily.
Hunt fails to land with a series of punches.
McGuiness missing with a left hand there. Hunt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hunt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McGuiness paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McGuiness is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
McGuiness tries to bum rush Hunt with a series of wild strikes but Hunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

McGuiness throws a hook to the side of Hunt's head but Hunt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hunt tries to clinch up but McGuiness circles away and keeps his distance.
Hunt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hunt slips under a jab from McGuiness.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunt is defended easily by McGuiness.
McGuiness tests Hunt's chin there with a solid looking shot.

McGuiness is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
McGuiness pounces like a tiger and cracks Hunt with a vicious hook! Hunt is down but not out! McGuiness follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
