Staal comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Ghetto Star (feat. Bad Azz). Cummings is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Misfits - Die Die My Darling . John Staal has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummings scores with a leg kick.
Staal lands with a good body shot.
Staal fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cummings looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A low kick from Staal misses
and Cummings connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cummings tries to clinch but Staal moves out of range.
Staal misses the shot to the body.
Cummings walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Tj Cummings has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Staal throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Cummings works over Staal's head and body with a nice combination.
Cummings wants to clinch up but Staal keeps it at a distance.
Cummings blocks a head kick by Staal.
Staal uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cummings stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Staal.

Cummings scores with a hook to the body. Staal takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A slapping body kick lands there for Staal.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Staal lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cummings at a distance.
A big right from Staal misses.
Staal throws a leg kick which misses Cummings's front leg but catches the back leg as Cummings tries to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as Staal checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Staal misses with a wild body shot.
Cummings is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Staal.

Staal tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Staal showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cummings.
The fighters circle, before Staal throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Cummings's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Staal lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
