Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony McMillian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Sera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMillian comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac-Hit em up. Tony McMillian could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to George Sera's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sera looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
McMillian is looking to stand up but Sera isn't so interested in that idea.
Sera trying to control the position from guard on top but McMillian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McMillian had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sera is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McMillian Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sera's back instead.
McMillian is trying to stick to Sera's back but Sera is turning into McMillian. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McMillian's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sera.

Sera avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sera cracks McMillian with a solid left hand.
Sera lands a couple of decent looking shots.

McMillian working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sera closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sera has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sera wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McMillian, who protects the arm well.

Sera is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down McMillian's shoulder. That is not cool.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McMillian fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sera looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

McMillian tries to close the distance and clinch but Sera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sera goes for an armbar but he's not got it… McMillian turns into him and now he's in Sera's guard.

McMillian decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sera, up you get!
Sera uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

McMillian shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sera pinned against the cage. Sera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sera moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Sera has had enough of the clinch but McMillian keeps him there for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sera lands a really nice looking cross but McMillian seems unphased.
McMillian attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Sera moves into range and clinches up with McMillian.

Sera is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McMillian can't fight it off and eventually Sera manages to take the fight to the floor. McMillian looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McMillian escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sera gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sera drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sera jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well Sera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
