The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borec shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rosso but Rosso pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Borec misses with a takedown attempt - Rosso sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Borec shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rosso pinned against the cage. Rosso gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valentino Rosso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psiho Borec.
Borec looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rosso is fending him off so far but Borec persists. Nope, Rosso circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rosso tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rosso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Borec manages to avoid it.

Rosso wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Borec manages to pass to side control.

Borec unloads with some shots from mount but Rosso bucks and avoids them well.

Rosso is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Borec postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rosso looks a forlorn figure.
Rosso is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
