The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borec looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Borec persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones jabs at Borec's body.
Borec takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Borec is breathing heavily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!

It looks like Divji Borec has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borec on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones wants to clinch up but Borec keeps it at a distance.
Jones drops Borec with a left right combo! Jones follows him down to the ground into side control.

Divji Borec's cut is getting worse.

Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jones has managed to clinch.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones drops Borec with a right and a left! Jones comes rushing in but Borec regains his composure and manages to keep Jones in guard.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Borec is retaining full guard.

Borec looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones wants to stand but Borec is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jones stands up from Borec's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout.
Borec takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Borec shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones works Borec's body with a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones scores with a three punch combo!

Divji Borec's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Borec.
Jones tries to clinch there but Borec circles away.
Conan Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Borec seems unphased.

Jeez, Divji Borec's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jones is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Borec rather than just go for the knockout.
