Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sabin Figaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Rabago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figaro kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Prospect - Warrior. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figaro on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

It looks like Adam Rabago has been cut.
Rabago has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Figaro and Rabago goes tumbling to the canvas! Figaro follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Adam Rabago hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Figaro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Figaro is defended easily by Rabago.
Rabago with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Figaro to score with a decent uppercut.

That has opened up Adam Rabago's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Horrible takedown by Figaro or perhaps it was just good defense by Rabago which made him look bad.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rabago lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Figaro has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Figaro and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Figaro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rabago fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Figaro manages to avoid it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Figaro, as that shot connected.

Figaro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rabago stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rabago wants to land a leg kick but Figaro is out of range.
Figaro connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rabago tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rabago misses with an attempted mid kick.
Figaro does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sabin Figaro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
