Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trunks Brief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers comes to the cage accompanied by Avatar - Let It Burn. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trunks Brief!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brief tries to close the distance and clinch up but Summers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Summers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Summers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
No joy there for Summers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brief is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Summers misses with a head kick.
Summers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brief stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Summers circles away from the clinch attempt.
Summers is looking to slow Brief down with leg kicks.
Brief fails in his attempt to clinch.
Summers scores with a three punch combo!
Summers feints a jab promting Brief to slip. Summers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brief slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Trunks Brief has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brief tries to clinch but Summers moves out of range.
Summers cracks Brief with a right hand to the side of the head.
Summers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brief fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've been told by Summers's head coaches at HILITE Fighting Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Summers moves into range and connects with a jab.
Brief misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Summers throws a leg kick which misses Brief's front leg but catches the back leg as Brief tries to avoid it.
Brief takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Summers throws a good cross that connects.
Summers fails to land with a series of punches.
Summers pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Brief back to the cage. Summers follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Brief is rocked!

That has opened up Trunks Brief's cut even more.
Nathan Summers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brief wants to clinch.
Brief is still on wobbly legs! Can Summers finish him?
Brief tries to clinch but Summers is having none of it.
Brief tries to clinch there but Summers circles away.
Brief seems to have recovered his senses.
Brief drops his hands for a split second and Summers immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Brief face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Summers follows up with a right hand that knocks Brief into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
