The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Obasanjo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Obasanjo showed some decent athleticism there.
We've been hearing that Obasanjo has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Obasanjo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Obasanjo throwing shots but Kure is blocking nicely.
Obasanjo is looking to take a break and control but Kure is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Obasanjo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Obasanjo is stalling here. Kure is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Obasanjo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kure has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Obasanjo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kure wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kure wants to lay and pray for a moment but Obasanjo keeps working.
Obasanjo is looking to reverse the position.

Kure is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Obasanjo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Obasanjo is trying to control Kure's posture but Kure avoids it.
Obasanjo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Obasanjo is working hard here to advance position.
Obasanjo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Obasanjo tries to bench press Kure off him but Kure keeps the position.

Kure is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Obasanjo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kure gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Obasanjo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kure lets go of the hold and Obasanjo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
