Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Lockheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Severart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Severart told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Severart takes the fight into the clinch.
Severart is looking for a takedown.
Severart wants to take the fight to the mat but Lockheart manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lockheart is working for takedown but Severart is calmly controlling the position for now.

Lockheart gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Severart is trying to stand back up but Lockheart is controlling him
Lockheart moves into full mount! Severart won't be happy about that!

Lockheart is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Lockheart!
