PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Havok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havok is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ode To Joy - Beethoven. Jerry Moore has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerry Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lucas Havok!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havok throws a hook but Moore blocks it.

Moore gets tackled into the cage by Havok. Havok maintains the clinch.

Havok ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Havok no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Havok tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Havok has control of Moore's left arm, preventing Moore from doing any damage.
Havok wants to sweep here but Moore controlling him for the moment.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Moore's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Havok connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Moore scrambles back to his feet.

Havok rushes Moore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Havok is trying to break the clinch but Moore is controlling him.

Havok turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Havok manages to end up in side control.
Havok just content to control the position.
Moore is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Havok asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Havok has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moore is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Havok yanks on the arm and Moore is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Havok.
