The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like John Kirby has been cut.
Trane takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fight stays on the outside here - Trane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Trane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kirby has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kirby is trying to maintain a safe position but Trane gets an underhook and turns Kirby into the cage.

and Trane counters with a straight right hand.


The cut above John Kirby's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sloppy strikes from Kirby. Those never looked like landing.
Trane tries to clinch but Kirby moves out of range.
Trane comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fighters circle, before Trane throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kirby's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Trane lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). John Trane!
A very excited looking John Trane made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
