Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitrij Vasilin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dmitrij Vasilin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bad Ben!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitrij Vasilin!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vasilin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ben misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ben tries to keep at a distance but Vasilin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ben misses with the head strike.
Vasilin tries to pull guard but Ben won't allow it.
Vasilin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bad Ben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitrij Vasilin.
Vasilin is trying to pull guard but Ben turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ben.
Vasilin manages to break the clinch.
Ben looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ben shoots in for a double leg but Vasilin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ben lands a big head kick that sends Vasilin tumbling to the mat! Ben takes a step backwards and waves Vasilin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ben throws a nice looking combination but Vasilin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ben tries to close the distance and clinch but Vasilin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ben shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vasilin pinned against the cage. Vasilin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ben throws a series of punches but Vasilin avoids them all with ease.
Vasilin gets tackled into the cage by Ben. Ben maintains the clinch.
Ben misses with the head strike.
Vasilin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ben smiles and moves away.
Ben tries to clinch but Vasilin moves out of range.
Ben misses with a few strikes there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ben misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ben misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ben tries for a takedown but Vasilin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck for Ben with that takedown attempt.
Vasilin dodges the punch combination from Ben.
Ben swinging wildly here.
Ben lands with a nice combination. Vasilin backs away looking to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ben fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Ben counters with an outside leg kick.
Ben looks for a takedown but Vasilin sprawls well.
Ben throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Ben counters with a slapping leg kick.
Ben pushes Vasilin up against the cage in a clinch.

Vasilin blocks an uppercut.
Ben scores with a nice hook to the head.
Vasilin avoiding damage.
Ben lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Vasilin wants to stall.
Vasilin breaks the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ben throws a head kick but Vasilin moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bad Ben dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ben doesn't manage to clinch there - Vasilin circles away.
Ben tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vasilin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ben takes the fight into the clinch.
Ben lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Vasilin jumps guard but Ben stands there with Vasilin around his waist. Vasilin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ben softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Ben throws a punch but it's blocked by Vasilin.
Vasilin is breathing heavily.
Vasilin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Vasilin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ben pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ben.
A nice left hand lands by Ben.
Ben lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ben misses with a punch on the inside.
Vasilin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Ben with that takedown attempt.
Ben changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ben pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ben shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Vasilin eats them both and turns towards Ben to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Vasilin is rocked!
Nice takedown defense from Vasilin. No joy for Ben on that attempt.
Vasilin is still on wobbly legs! Can Ben finish him?
Bad Ben is winning the standup battle so far.
Ben moves into range and clinches up with Vasilin.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ben lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vasilin backwards.
Vasilin breaks from the clinch.
OH! Vasilin has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Ben smells blood and charges in for the finish! Ben unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Vasilin sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bad Ben!
