The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield misses with a two punch combination.
Redfield with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Junior with a lazy takedown attempt
and Junior takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Roberts Junior has been cut.

Redfield forces Junior back against the cage and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Redfield.
A short uppercut from Redfield.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Redfield gets through Junior's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Junior is working for takedown but Redfield is calmly controlling the position for now.
Junior is breathing heavily.
Redfield lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Redfield throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Juniors head.
Redfield lands a shoulder strike.
Redfield creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Junior with a big uppercut! Junior tries to clinch up but Redfield pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Junior to the mat! Junior covers up and Redfield unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Chris Redfield gave a mention to Nippon Outfitters in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
