Silva comes into the arena with California Love blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard lands with a straight right. Silva didn't see that one coming.

Bernard tries to break free but Silva pushes him back against the cage.

Bernard is trying to break the clinch but Silva is controlling him.

Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bernard has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Silva is proving hard to escape from.

Damian Silva decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
