Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rudolph McKenzie!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lin with a jab.


It looks like Rudolph McKenzie has been cut.
McKenzie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

McKenzie dives in and scores a takedown into Lin's guard.
Lin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lin keeping moving, preventing McKenzie from controlling successfully.
McKenzie sitting in guard, not really doing much.
McKenzie trying to control but Lin is working from the bottom.
Lin wants to sweep but no luck.
McKenzie lands a couple of digs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McKenzie lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Lin wants to stand and escape but McKenzie is having none of it.
Lin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lin is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McKenzie lands a couple of decent looking shots.
McKenzie is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
McKenzie trying to control the position from guard on top but Lin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McKenzie content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lin looking to hit a scissor sweep but McKenzie is one step ahead there.
Lin keeping moving, preventing McKenzie from controlling successfully.
McKenzie stands and throws Lin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McKenzie working away.
A big shot lands for McKenzie! That's hurt Lin! Will he recover? McKenzie fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rudolph McKenzie!
An out of breath Rudolph McKenzie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Kelvin Lin stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm sorry boss. I will build my way up here back.'.
