Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robinson Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Dantas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robinson Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jose Dantas!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell misses with the combination.
Dantas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dantas tries for a takedown but Bell circles away easily
and Bell counters with a one-two to the body.

Dantas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bell wants to get back to his feet.
Bell has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Dantas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Dantas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dantas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
