Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brotha Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Monster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Edward Durden enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Durden closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lynch's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lynch looking for a guillotine here but Durden defends easily.
Lynch definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lynch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Durden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Durden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lynch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durden has managed to get both his arms back between Lynch's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durden looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lynch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Durden is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lynch is just riding it out for now. Durden eventually gives up the hold.
Durden lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Durden loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Lynch scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Durden land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Durden stands and salutes the crowd.
