The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilhelm looks to land a combination but Casados avoids it well.
Casados lands with a kick to the temple. Wilhelm shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Casados with a poor takedown
and Wilhelm counters with a leg kick.
Wilhelm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Casados circles away quickly and effectively.
Wilhelm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Casados looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wilhelm fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wilhelm leaves Casados with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wilhelm dodges the punch combination from Casados.
Casados shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wilhelm as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Javier Casados. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Casados tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilhelm sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Casados somewhat.

and Wilhelm counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilhelm lands with a big left! Casados is wobbled badly! Wilhelm comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Casados to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
