Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Androv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Oscar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Oscar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikhail Androv!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Oscar!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Androv looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oscar is fending him off so far but Androv persists. Nope, Oscar circles away and we're back to standing.
Androv shoots in and drives through. Oscar sprawls well.

Oscar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Androv is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Androv is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Oscar's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Oscar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Androv slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oscar trying to control but Androv is working from the bottom.
Androv tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Oscar wants to pass the guard but Androv is keeping the position.
Androv not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Androv is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Androv is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Oscar won't allow Androv to sweep him here.

Androv escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oscar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Oscar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Androv is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Oscar scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Androv might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Oscar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Oscar lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Oscar is pushing down on Androv's leg trying to pass to half guard. Androv is fighting to maintain full guard but Oscar has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oscar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Oscar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Androv does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Androv is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Oscar scores with a couple of nice shots.
Oscar is nestled in close to Androv, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Oscar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Androv is trying to get back to full guard.
Oscar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Androv. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oscar tries to stand but can't do so whilst Androv controls his leg.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Oscar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are battling for position here. Androv manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Oscar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Androv swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Androv is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oscar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Oscar is stalling in the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Oscar dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Oscar shoots and misses

and Androv counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Oscar's guard now.
Oscar is looking to stand up but Androv isn't so interested in that idea.
Androv lands a couple of digs.
Androv trying to control the position from guard on top but Oscar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Androv working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Oscar's head.
Oscar wants to sweep here but Androv controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Androv sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Oscar is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Oscar is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Oscar is not content to let Androv control the position.
Oscar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Androv wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Oscar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Androv has his takedown stuffed

so Oscar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Oscar sitting in guard here, content to control.
Oscar cracks Androv with a solid left hand.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Androv is on top in guard.
Androv pushes down on Oscar's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Androv works his way into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Androv has hold of Oscar's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Oscar seems comfortable defending it but Androv has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Oscar is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Oscar is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Androv couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mikhail Androv!
