Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Stevens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Stevens 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Stevens closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walker to the mat! Walker manages to get full guard.
Walker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stevens throws an elbow that misses. Walker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stevens's guard. Nice move by Walker!
Walker wants to control from the top but Stevens keeps moving.
Walker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Walker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stevens is proving hard to escape from.
Walker passes Stevens's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stevens can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walker is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Stevens keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Walker is looking for a kimura but Stevens is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Walker to get the leverage.
Walker tries to pass to full mount but Stevens defends it.

Stevens manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Stevens shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Stevens winds up and cracks Walker with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Walker on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Stevens is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Walker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stevens scores with a couple of nice shots.
Stevens takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Walker trying to control but Stevens postures up.
Stevens looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Walker is rocked!
Stevens lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Walker! More strikes land and this one is all over! Stevens jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
