Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Prince Hurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lennon Jann!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hurst has closed the distance and engaged Jann in a clinch.

Hurst breaks from the clinch.
Hurst really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hurst gets a clinch.

Hurst's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hurst tries to avoid it but Jann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hurst to the ground. Hurst escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hurst shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jann manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jann trying to keep a closed guard but Hurst is proving a slippery customer.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jann holds on and takes a little breather.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jann can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hurst postures up.

Jann looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hurst has picked Jann up and slammed him! Jann can't keep hold of the triangle and Hurst manages to pass to side control!
Jann wants to control but Hurst postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jann is looking to reverse the position.
Jann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hurst. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hurst is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jann looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hurst gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jann is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hurst lets go of the hold and Jann can pop his arm back in it's socket.
