The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Country looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fed!
Fed tries to improve position but can't.
Country sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fed is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fed managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Country.
Fed felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Country cracks Fed with a big elbow.

It looks like Roman Fed has been cut.
Country throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Country creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fed sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Fed takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fed prevents Country from moving into mount.
Country is trying to move to mount but Fed reverses beautifully and ends up in Country's guard.

Country is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fed defends well.
Country has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Country throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Country is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fed frees his head nicely. Oh but Country has switched to an armbar! Fed is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
