Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buggy Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux's entrance music is Bloodsport - Fight to Survive. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Buggy Clown!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux throws a jab but it's blocked by Clown.
Clown checks a leg kick.
Clown fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dux checks it well.
Buggy Clown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dux chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Clown can pounce on him.
Clown swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Clown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dux doesn't seem bothered though.
Clown sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Dux looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dux stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dux dives in and grabs Clown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clown pushes down on Dux's head and hops out.

Clown throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Clown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Clown throws a lazy uppercut
and Dux counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Clown throws a body punch but Dux moves out of range.
Clown goes for a double leg but Dux avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Dux continues to drive forward.
Frank Dux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buggy Clown.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Clown has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dux regains guard immediately.

Clown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
