Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jim Beckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon has chosen Who are you? Come on, goodbye! as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon goes for a double leg but Beckett avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Beckett continues to drive forward.
Boon tries for a takedown but Beckett manages to get underhooks.
Beckett lands a nice shot to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Beckett.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Beckett for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Boon is trying to drag Beckett to the mat but Beckett just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Boon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beckett avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Boon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Beckett dives on top into guard.

Beckett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Beckett is taking a breather. Boon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Beckett postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Boon looks a forlorn figure.

Boon looks up at the clock. Bad move! Beckett lands a right hand from hell, dropping Boon. Beckett pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

A relieved looking Jim Beckett thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
