Caster is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fidel Caster Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caster loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fidel Caster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Caster.
Caster jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A telegraphed right hand from Caster misses the target.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Caster.
Caster misses with a straight right.
Caster thows a left - swing and a miss!
Caster lands a head shot.
Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A jab from Caster misses.
Caster scores with a nice right hand.

Caster stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fidel Caster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Gracie could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gracie ducks right into an uppercut from Caster.
Caster might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Caster misses with a hook.
A swing and a miss from Caster.
Caster fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Left hook, right uppercut from Caster.
Caster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Caster misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Caster misses with a wild body shot.
Caster throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.
Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caster throws out the jab.
Caster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A combination from Caster does no damage.
Caster connects with a nice looking jab.

Caster throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.

Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Caster.
Caster looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Caster throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range.
Caster looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.

Caster takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Caster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Caster throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.
Caster throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Caster throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Caster jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gracie slips under a jab.
Caster throws a poor cross that misses
and Gracie counters with a nice low kick that buckles Caster's knee momentarily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Caster lands a jab.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fidel Caster dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Caster throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sloppy strikes from Caster. Those never looked like landing.
Gracie slips a jab from Caster.
Caster swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Caster throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Caster.
Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Caster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Caster scores with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Caster misses with an uppercut

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Caster won't be happy with that.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gracie tries to advance to mount but Caster denies him.
Gracie wants to control but Caster is keeping him busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caster prevents Gracie from improving position.
Caster tries to control but Gracie manages to take his back.
Caster wants to control his opponent's hands but Gracie gets his hands free.
Caster is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Gracie off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Caster is trying to defend against the choke here but Gracie has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Gracie Tightens the hold and Caster taps out furiously! Gracie displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Blazed Gracie!
In defeat, Fidel Caster stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry I couldn't have done better...'.
