PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kacper Glowacki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Summit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Glowacki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Teenange Mutant Ninja Turtles intro. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summit avoids the body shot from Glowacki.

Glowacki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Glowacki lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Summit keeping moving, preventing Glowacki from controlling successfully.
Glowacki stands and throws Summit's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Glowacki throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Summit struggling a bit here.
Glowacki is looking to take a break and control but Summit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Summit is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Summit is trying to control Glowacki's posture but Glowacki avoids it.
Glowacki lands a decent elbow from side control.
Glowacki in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Glowacki moves into full mount!
Summit holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Glowacki tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Glowacki trying to control but Summit is having none of it.
Summit is wriggling around trying to escape.
Poor strikes thrown by Glowacki there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Summit wants to hold on but Glowacki pushes him away.

Summit wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Glowacki.
Glowacki trying to control but Summit is having none of it.

Glowacki throwing strikes here but Summit is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Summit is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Glowacki lands a couple of good shots and Summit has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Glowacki controlling the positon.
Glowacki misses with a punch to the head.
Summit grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Glowacki lands strikes to the head.

Glowacki working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Summit is doing well to defend. Glowacki seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Summit is forced to tap and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kacper Glowacki!
A relieved looking Kacper Glowacki thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
