Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eli Bernstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Yu!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bernstein throws a jab but it's blocked by Yu.

Yu tries to keep at a distance but Bernstein has taken the fight into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Yu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bernstein backwards.
Bernstein wants a takedown but no success here.
Yu lands a shoulder strike.
Yu lands a hook to the side of the head.

Yu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bernstein is looking to clinch.
Yu scores with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Yu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bernstein.

The crowd cheers as Yu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bernstein doesn't seem phased though.
Bernstein throws a hook to the side of Yu's head but Yu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bernstein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yu doesn't seem bothered though.
A left lands for Yu.
A head kick misses from Bernstein.
Yu stuffs the takedown.
Bernstein looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Yu works Bernstein's body with a nice hook.
Yu fails in his attempt to clinch.
Yu lands a glancing blow to the side of Bernstein's head.
Jack Yu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bernstein's head backwards.
Yu feints and then cracks Bernstein's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bernstein down.
Yu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bernstein. That did some damage!
Yu dips to his left and cracks Bernstein with an uppercut!
Yu scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Yu lands a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bernstein throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Yu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Good shot there by Yu.
Bernstein looks to land a right hand but Yu moved out of range.
Yu avoids the body shot from Bernstein.
Good work by Yu as he checks the leg kick.
Yu lands a lovely overhand right.
Yu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bernstein throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Yu connects with a single shot there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bernstein takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Yu cracks a nice hook into Bernstein's ribs.
Bernstein thows a leg kick but Yu checks it
and Yu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Yu connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bernstein throws out a loose jab but Yu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bernstein fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eli Bernstein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bernstein backs up against the cage.
Yu doesn't manage to clinch there - Bernstein circles away.
Bernstein throws a half hearted mid kick.
Yu swinging wildly here.
Bernstein takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Yu throws a sloppy head kick and Bernstein moves out of range easily.
Bernstein looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bernstein throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Yu.

It looks like Jack Yu has been cut.
A clash of legs there as Yu blocks the low kick.

Bernstein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bernstein had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Bernstein wants to clinch.
Yu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Oooooh!!! Yu has knocked Bernstein down with a huge combo! Yu steps away and waves a wobbly Bernstein back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Bernstein is rocked!

It looks like Eli Bernstein has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Oh Bernstein is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bernstein gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Yu gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bernstein is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
