Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Sir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roosevelt Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've been hearing reports that Sir has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Coleman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sir tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Coleman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Coleman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Sir tries to clinch there but Coleman circles away.

A slow jab from Coleman misses its intended target.
Coleman throws a quick inside leg kick.
Coleman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Coleman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Coleman loads up on a big right hand but Sir slips the punch.

and Coleman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Coleman lands a slapping body shot.
Sir is breathing heavily.
Sir avoids the head kick by Coleman.
Coleman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sir. That did some damage!
Robin Sir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sir looks to clinch
and Coleman counters with a straight right hand.
Coleman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sir doesn't seem bothered though.
Coleman jabs Sir to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Coleman.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Coleman throws the left hand but Sir avoids the punch easily.
Coleman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Coleman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Coleman duly obliges.


It looks like Robin Sir has been cut.
Sir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Coleman can pounce on him.
Coleman scores with a jab to the body.
Coleman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Coleman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Coleman lands a lovely overhand right.

Coleman lands a jab to the head.
Coleman throws a shot to the body.

Coleman cracks Sir with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Coleman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sir to stand back up!

Sir tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Coleman works Sir's body with a nice hook.
Coleman throws a jab when Sir was well out of range.
Coleman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice jab there from Coleman.
Coleman lands a jab to Sir's midsection.
Coleman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Coleman lands a nice shot to the body.
Sir moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Coleman cracks Sir with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Coleman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sir to stand back up!


Sir is rocked!
Coleman drops Sir with a naaaaasty hook - Sir is in real trouble here! Coleman dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roosevelt Coleman!
During a confident post fight interview, Roosevelt Coleman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
