The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mood throws a push kick but Wade slaps the foot to one side.
Wade connects with a jab.

Wade fails in his attempt to clinch.

Mood moves forwards but Wade connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Wade walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Mood just misses with a punch to the body.
Wade throws a poor cross that misses
and Mood counters with a low kick, right behind Wade 's knee.

Wade tries to keep at a distance but Mood has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mood is trying to force a seperation but Wade has the dominant position.
Mood with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Wade escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mellow Mood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mood plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I was talking to Wade's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Wade throws a punch but it's blocked by Mood.
Mood lands a good knee to the midsection. Wade won't want to take too many of those.
Wade digs a right hand underneath Mood's ribcage. Mood let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Mood lands a big head kick that sends Wade tumbling to the mat! Mood takes a step backwards and waves Wade back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Samson Wade has been cut.

Oh Wade is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mood throws a powerful right kick. Wade tried to block low but the kick was high! Wade was taken right off of his feet! Mood jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
