The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vrbada throws a nice looking combination but Maia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maia moves forwards but Vrbada connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Vrbada gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Maia is working for takedown but Vrbada is calmly controlling the position for now.
Maia manages to pull guard.
Maia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Vrbada will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Maia looking for a triangle here. Vrbada is fighting it but it looks tight! Maia pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Vrbada is tapping out - this one is all over!
