PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobe Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theodore Osbourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fluke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dresta - Dippin' (Dirty West Mixtape Vol. 1). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osbourne throws a shot from downtown. Fluke moves away and avoids it.
Osbourne avoids the head kick by Fluke.
Osbourne throws a series of punches but Fluke avoids them all with ease.
Osbourne throws a nice looking combination but Fluke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fluke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Osbourne moves away.
Osbourne misses with a wild combination.
Fluke slips a jab and a cross from Osbourne.
Osbourne lands with a nice combination. Fluke backs away looking to recover.
Osbourne throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fluke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A looping hook to the body misses from Osbourne. Fluke does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fluke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Osbourne moves away.

Theodore Osbourne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fluke shoots in and drives through. Osbourne sprawls well.

Osbourne will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fluke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Osbourne is fending him off so far but Fluke persists. Nope, Osbourne circles away and we're back to standing.

Osbourne loads up on a big right hand but Fluke slips the punch.
A nice combination there by Osbourne.
Osbourne throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fluke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sloppy strikes from Osbourne. Those never looked like landing.
Osbourne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fluke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fluke is trying hard to land a takedown here. Osbourne sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fluke. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Fluke tries to land a front kick but Osbourne steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Osbourne swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fluke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fluke dives in and scores a takedown into Osbourne's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Theodore Osbourne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Fluke tries to land a front kick but Osbourne steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Fluke counters with a left and a right that stings Osbourne.
Osbourne throws a body punch but Fluke moves out of range.
Osbourne catches Fluke with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fluke is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Osbourne enables Fluke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Osbourne manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Osbourne is wriggling around but Fluke manages to pass to half guard.
Osbourne takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Osbourne wants to improve his position but Fluke is controlling well.

Fluke is keen to just control but Osbourne is a slippery customer.

Osbourne is looking for a sweep. Fluke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Osbourne can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fluke looks to land a right hand but Osbourne moved out of range.
Fluke shoots in looking for a takedown. Osbourne tries to sprawl out of it but Fluke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Osbourne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Horrible takedown by Fluke or perhaps it was just good defense by Osbourne which made him look bad.
Osbourne ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Osbourne works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Osbourne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fluke was well out of range. Poor timing from Osbourne.
Osbourne throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Osbourne connects with a looping right hand.

Osbourne leaves Fluke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kobe Fluke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Osbourne throws a series of punches but Fluke moves out of range.
Osbourne lands a lovely overhand right.
A left and a right from Osbourne both land. Nice combination.
Osbourne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Fluke feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fluke wants to control from the top but Osbourne keeps moving.

Kobe Fluke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fluke prevents Osbourne from getting back to his feet.
Fluke has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Osbourne is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Osbourne working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

I would just about give that final round to Theodore Osbourne.
I've got Osbourne winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
