PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bonhomme Sept Heures (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sept Heures comes into the arena with Monster Mash blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Munechika's choice of entrance music: Requiem for a Dream. On his way into the cage it seems that Bonhomme Sept Heures has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bonhomme Sept Heures seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kato Munechika!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sept Heures lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Munechika circles away quickly and effectively.
Munechika keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Sept Heures throws a wild body kick that Munechika sees coming a mile off.
Munechika fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sept Heures misses with a kick to the body
and Munechika counters with a right hand to the body.
Munechika misses with a jab to the body

and Sept Heures counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sept Heures is trying to control the action in half guard but Munechika is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Munechika goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Munechika lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
