Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elia Makroff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kye Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makroff fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Clarke has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Makroff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for Makroff with that takedown attempt.
Clarke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Clarke gets a takedown into half guard.
Clarke wants to stand up but Makroff has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Makroff trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clarke is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Makroff slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Makroff lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clarke!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clarke is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Makroff has isolated one of Clarke's arms. Clarke looking to fight him off but Makroff twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
