Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Vendetta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Linkin Portier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendetta rushes Portier and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Portier tries to clinch but Vendetta moves out of range.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vendetta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Portier.

Vendetta pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Vendetta misses with a hook. Portier ducked under it nicely.
Portier lands a nice looking body shot.
Vendetta misses with a wild combination.
Portier uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vendetta.
Vendetta throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Portier lands a big head kick that sends Vendetta tumbling to the mat! Portier takes a step backwards and waves Vendetta back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vendetta is rocked!
It looks like Fabio Vendetta has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Portier is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Portier shuts the power down on Vendetta. Lights out, game over! Portier is your winner.

A relieved looking Linkin Portier thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
