The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rios tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rios looks to land a body kick but Silva moved away.
Rios misses with a head kick.
Rios pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rios fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Rios scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rios.
Rios lets loose with a powerful body kick. Silva will feel that in the morning.
Rios throws a leg kick which misses Silva's front leg but catches the back leg as Silva tries to avoid it.
Ricardo Rios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rios throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rios tries a head kick but it misses.
Rios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Rios gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Rios won't allow it.
Rios digs a right hand into Silva's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Silva's gas tank.
Rios lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rios doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A nice left hand lands by Rios.

Rios lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Silva looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rios pushes Silva back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rios tries to throw a body punch but Silva avoids it by throwing Rios back against the cage.
Rios lands a hook that snaps the head of Silva backwards.

A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rios manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Rios lands a left hand.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A short body shot lands from Rios as the two fighters clinch.
Rios lands an elbow inside.

Rios pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Silva! Rios unloads with more strikes and Silva sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
