PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarmo Pajumaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TAKANORI GOMI (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pajumaki comes to the cage accompanied by Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack. GOMI has chosen Iggy Pop - The Passenger as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - GOMI looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pajumaki stuffs the takedown attempt from GOMI. GOMI gets slowly back to his feet.
GOMI slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
GOMI throws out a leg kick but Pajumaki moves out of range and GOMI only half commits.

Pajumaki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in GOMI's guard.

Pajumaki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
