The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amudeng shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wilson pinned against the cage. Wilson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Wilson feints and then cracks Amudeng's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Amudeng down.
Amudeng goes for a double leg but Wilson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wilson continues to drive forward.

Amudeng is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wilson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Amudeng to the mat. Amudeng regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Wilson is looking to pass into half guard but Amudeng pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Amudeng is in guard.

Amudeng postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Amudeng. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Amudeng seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
