Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawada keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kawada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Soap blocks the body kick.
Kawada moves out of range of the body kick.
Soap tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Soap manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kawada on his heels. He'll look to pass Kawada's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Soap slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kawada looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Soap wants to pass the guard but Kawada is keeping the position.

Soap is posturing up here but Kawada has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Soap tries to roll out but it's too tight and Soap has to tap! Slick submission there by Kawada!

Keiji Kawada bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
