The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tauoria fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tauoria tries to clinch up.

Fishhook dives in and scores a takedown into Tauoria's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fishhook throws a big right hand that misses.
Tauoria wants to stand up but Fishhook is controlling him.
Fishhook postures up in Tauoria's guard and throws a big left but Tauoria blocks it.
Fishhook prevents Tauoria from getting back to his feet.

Fishhook drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fishhook jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fishhook passes Tauoria's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Fishhook is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tauoria is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Rusty Fishhook decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
