The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Delacruz circles away.

Delacruz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garcia swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Delacruz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Garcia walks away with a smile on his face. Delacruz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Delacruz has Garcia pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Delacruz pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Garcia tumbling to the mat - Delacruz dives into Garcia's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marlon Delacruz.
Well Garcia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
