Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stiltzkin throws a combination. gunter tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like trevor gunter has been cut.

and Stiltzkin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
gunter slips a jab and a cross from Stiltzkin.
trevor gunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stiltzkin throws a left and a right that both miss
and gunter counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Stiltzkin is lucky that one didn't land flush.
gunter shoots for a takedown but Stiltzkin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stiltzkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but gunter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oooh a lovely combination from Stiltzkin sends gunter down but not out. Stiltzkin dives into side control looking to finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oh gunter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stiltzkin stands up.
Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
gunter wants to get back to his feet.
gunter seems to have got his legs back now.

gunter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Stiltzkin won't allow gunter to sweep him here.

Stiltzkin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
gunter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stiltzkin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
gunter looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stiltzkin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A low kick from gunter is predictable there
letting Stiltzkin counter with a right hand.
Stiltzkin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stiltzkin showed some decent athleticism there.

Stiltzkin is sitting in close to gunter's body. gunter has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Stiltzkin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Stiltzkin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by gunter.
