Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dee May!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

May has taken the fight to the clinch.

Winner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
May is trying to keep Winner in close.
Winner wants to control from the top but May keeps moving.
Winner prevents May from getting back to his feet.

Winner tries to free his leg and advance position but May is retaining full guard.

Winner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

May felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

May really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Winner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've been hearing good reports from Winner's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
May is not content to let Winner control the position.

May is squirming around, avoiding Winner's attempts to control the action.

Horrible takedown by Winner or perhaps it was just good defense by May which made him look bad.

May moves into the clinch.
Oh Winner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
May has a couple of punches blocked by Winner.
May misses with a punch on the inside.
May tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
May swings wildly with an uppercut but Winner uses good head movement to avoid it.
May lands a big right hand that drops Winner! The killer instinct kicks in and May finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by May!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dee May!
