PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Falcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romalu Lukaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Romalu Lukaku was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukaku takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lukaku looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Falcon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lukaku's guard.
Lukaku wants to sweep here but Falcon controlling him for the moment.

Lukaku's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Falcon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lukaku scrambles back to his feet.

We've been informed that Lukaku has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Falcon feints a jab promting Lukaku to slip. Falcon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lukaku slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Donk. Falcon catches Lukaku right on the button with a cross.

Lukaku has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Lukaku is rocked!

Falcon shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Lukaku is on queer street and Falcon is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Adam Falcon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
