Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Rock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergio Moraes!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moraes has closed the distance and engaged Rock in a clinch.

Moraes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rock can't fight it off and eventually Moraes manages to take the fight to the floor. Rock looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Rock trying to keep a closed guard but Moraes is proving a slippery customer.

Moraes jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rock is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rock and Moraes has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Moraes has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rock!
Moraes is trying to take his opponent's back.

Moraes goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rock turns into him and now he's in Moraes's guard.

Moraes is looking for a triangle but Rock pushes his legs off easily.
Rock tries to free his leg and advance position but Moraes is retaining full guard.

Moraes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've been hearing that Rock has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rock works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Rock is stalling here. Moraes is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rock seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Moraes has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Rock has given up his back.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Moraes's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Moraes is looking for the choke from the back position but Rock is controlling his hands well.

Moraes is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Rock is forced to tap! Great finish!
