Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Salnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Small closes the distance and clinches.
Salnik changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Small fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Salnik could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Salnik crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Small - the referee stops the clock and Salnik gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Small. Salnik manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Small throws a good cross that connects.

Salnik closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Salnik lands in his opponent's guard.

Small is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Salnik frees his head nicely. Oh but Small has switched to an armbar! Salnik is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
