PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pinkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinkman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is i knew you were trouble By Taylor swift. Adrian Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Pinkman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Adrian Lewis!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pinkman tries to avoid it but Lewis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pinkman to the ground. Pinkman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lewis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pinkman to the mat! Pinkman manages to get full guard.
Lewis preventing the sweep.
Lewis wants to pass the guard but Pinkman is keeping the position.
Pinkman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lewis is stalling in the full guard.
Lewis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Adrian Lewis.
Pinkman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lewis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pinkman misses with a series of wild punches.
Lewis walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pinkman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lewis was well out of range. Poor timing from Pinkman.
Pinkman tries to clinch there but Lewis circles away.

Pinkman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lewis looking for a takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pinkman walks away with a smile on his face. Lewis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jesse Pinkman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Lewis.

Pinkman closes the distance and clinches.
Lewis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pinkman pushes Lewis back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Pinkman lands a body shot.
Pinkman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Lewis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pinkman misses with an elbow over the top.
Lewis has Pinkman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pinkman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis wants to take the fight to the mat but Pinkman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lewis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lewis is working for takedown but Pinkman is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lewis looks winded!

Pinkman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pinkman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lewis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pinkman defends it nicely.
Lewis shoots in but Pinkman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pinkman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lewis dives in for a single leg takedown but Pinkman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Lewis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pinkman regains guard immediately.
Pinkman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lewis is one step ahead there.
Pinkman is adopting a defensive guard.

Pinkman is trying to keep Lewis in close.
Pinkman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jesse Pinkman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Pinkman is looking to clinch.
Lewis keeps the fight on the outside.

Pinkman darts in and clinches Lewis up against the cage.
Pinkman lands a nice uppercut.
Lewis tries for a takedown but Pinkman manages to get underhooks.
Lewis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pinkman pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lewis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pinkman gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lewis tries for a takedown. No joy.

Lewis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Pinkman breaks from the clinch.
Lewis shoots for a takedown but Pinkman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lewis darts in looking for a takedown but Pinkman gets double underhooks and turns Lewis into the cage.
Pinkman scores with a hook to the body.
Lewis goes for a takedown attempt but Pinkman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pinkman swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Lewis to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pinkman doesn't manage to clinch there - Lewis circles away.
Lewis shoots in but Pinkman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lewis ducks right into an uppercut from Pinkman.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Pinkman dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Pinkman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jesse Pinkman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinkman looks to land a right hand but Lewis moved out of range.
Lewis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pinkman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lewis somewhat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pinkman, as that shot connected.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pinkman!

Pinkman moves into the clinch successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lewis is working for takedown but Pinkman is calmly controlling the position for now.

Pinkman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pinkman clinches up with Lewis and pushes him back against the cage.
Lewis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pinkman is defending well.
Jesse Pinkman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Lewis.
Pinkman lands a shot to the body.
Lewis tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pinkman lands with a right to the head.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Pinkman digs a right hand underneath Lewis's ribcage. Lewis let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Pinkman softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Pinkman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pinkman connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lewis tumbling to the canvas! Pinkman pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lewis was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jesse Pinkman!

A relieved looking Jesse Pinkman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
