Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Coach and Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aris Lithoxoidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wrestling Coach and Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aris Lithoxoidis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Lithoxoidis misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Coach and Fighter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lithoxoidis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Coach and Fighter.
Lithoxoidis is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Coach and Fighter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coach and Fighter is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.

Lithoxoidis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coach and Fighter connects with a nice short shot to Lithoxoidis's temple.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Coach and Fighter postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lithoxoidis to stand up.

and Coach and Fighter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lithoxoidis won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coach and Fighter drops back looking for a leg! Lithoxoidis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lithoxoidis manages to kick Coach and Fighter off! Coach and Fighter jumps back into Lithoxoidis's guard.
Coach and Fighter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lithoxoidis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coach and Fighter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lithoxoidis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Coach and Fighter is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lithoxoidis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Coach and Fighter's back instead.

Lithoxoidis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Coach and Fighter is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lithoxoidis.

Lithoxoidis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Coach and Fighter has hold of Lithoxoidis's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lithoxoidis manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coach and Fighter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
