The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Williams looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Black has picked Williams up and slammed him! Williams can't keep hold of the triangle and Black manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.

Black gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Black rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage.

Black pulls guard effortlessly.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Black can do anything to dispel that myth.
Black manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Williams manages to get himself to full guard.

Black gets to his feet. Williams looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Black cracks Williams with a right hand to the side of the head.

Black is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Williams is in big trouble! Black is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Williams. Poor guy.
